OUR CHILLED FACTORY LAUNCHES

We are delighted that the new chilled part of our facility in Airdrie is now operational.  The new high care factory allows us to make prepared potato and vegetable dishes and the first packs came rolling off the lines in September.

It allows us to diversify and meet growing consumer demand for convenient, prepared meals and accompaniments.  We are already supplying a number of the main retailers with products for their own label and are looking forward to launching delicious potato dishes under our own Albert Bartlett brand in the next few weeks.

We are very grateful to the European Union and to the Scottish Government for co-funding this project, which will create 35 new jobs and will benefit the entire supply chain, including the many Scottish potato growers who are long-term partners of the company.
