Alongside growing 10 varieties of potatoes, Andrew and his team at Willow Tree Farm also grow wheat, sugar beet, oil seed rape, combinable peas, combinable beans, daffodil bulbs, grass seed and spring oats. They undertake in voluntary hedge and tree planting to encourage wildlife into the area. They are also part of the following environmental organisations: LEAF, FWAG, Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust and Game Conservancy Trust. They aim to incorporate potatoes as part of a wide and varied rotation, with a view to giving better quality crops whilst maintaining excellent soil conditions and using better environmental practises.
