In 2018, Albert Bartlett was delighted to acquire Capocci ice cream. The Capocci family has been making premium-quality, Italian-style ice cream in our home town of Airdrie since 1926.
Ernest Capocci, son of the founder Vincent, and his long-serving team are the only people who know the exact recipe of the ice cream. The same secret recipe is still used to this day and it is currently only available from the Capocci ice-cream shop in Airdrie and from a limited number of selected local outlets, but plans are in progress!
Opening hours can vary with the season but generally the Ice Cream shop is open Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 12 noon til 5pm.
